You may have heard already, but Waterloo Quay's onsite coffee shop and eatery is now under new management! 

 

The vibrant cafe is now being operated by the team at Aberdeen's popular 210 Bistro restaurant (located on Market Street). There are lots of tasty breakfast, lunch and snack options on offer as well as daily fresh fruit infused water. There is also a weekly specials menu, which features daily soups, hot meals, and salad.

 

Event catering:

210 Caboose is in a great position to cater for your meetings and events. With a variety of menu options, call or email the team with your requirements and your catering option will be delivered, at a time specified by you.

Corporate Coffee Club:

210 Caboose is also open to non-tenants of Waterloo Quay, providing a professional yet relaxed place for likeminded business people to meet and network, without the hassle of city centre parking and noisy coffee shops. Members of the club are welcome to make use of Waterloo Quay's onsite parking free of charge, all that is asked is that a space is requested in advance (subject to availability). 

 

The Corporate Coffee Club is a free membership open to business people across Scotland. If you would like to sign up, please contact Carolynne Riley atcarolynne@waterlooquay.com.

Matrix Risk Control
Meet the Matrix Team

It was an exciting start to 2017 for Matrix Risk Control as the company took up residence on the second floor in Suite 1 of Waterloo Quay’s Ocean Spirit House. For Matrix, the move coincided perfectly with the company extending its headcount and the additional office and meeting space has been put to good use from day one.

 

Matrix works with organisations of varying sizes – and across several industries and continents – managing many major forms of operational risk. Formed in 2009, the company provides root cause analysis and incident investigation training and support services to clients around the globe. Its founders are former senior police investigators and Matrix retains a strong policing heritage across today’s wider team of 14.

 

Easy access to on-site training facilities at Waterloo Quay is a distinct advantage for Matrix and one which it has fully exploited. Matrix runs a variety of training courses regularly in Aberdeen for health and safety and HR professionals. The company also provides training and consultancy on-site for clients domestically and overseas.

 

In keeping with many other tenants, the Matrix team enjoys the benefits of Waterloo Quay’s gym facilities and coffee shop. A healthy rivalry exists between the staff when it comes to fitness levels and a cohort from Matrix was among the first to visit the refurbished cafe, 210 Caboose. All in all, the team are delighted to be at Waterloo Quay!
