WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE WQP COMMUNITY?


Hello and welcome to Waterloo Quay Properties! 2016 has been a whirlwind for the WQP community so far, with lots of changes taking place. To keep you up-to-date on the buzz all you have to do is keep an eye out for this bi-monthly newsletter.

 

We hope you found the first edition of our newsletter useful and you’ve had a chance to explore our brand new website (waterlooquay.com) and social media pages – all there to help keep you in the loop with what’s going on at WQP.

We would like to say a huge welcome to the WQP newbies! This year alone, we’ve welcomed; Ampelmann, Involve HR, Pebble Mountain Properties, Loch & Philips, Innovo Engineering & Construction and Ocean Response Management to the WQP developments.

I’ve recently moved into the Nautilus House. Representing Ampelmann in the UK is an exciting prospect. Everything we do speaks to the current market conditions we’re seeing right now and I’m looking forward to building a business and team in Aberdeen to continue supporting walk to work projects and help make offshore access “as easy as crossing the street”.

KEEP FIT AT WORK!

 
Did you know we have our very own in-house fitness expert at WQP?

 

Jamie Ballatyne, our personal trainer at Quay Fitness, has more than six years’ experience in the sport and fitness industry and is available onsite to provide one-to-one training sessions or advice on keeping healthy at work.  

 

QuayFitness is WQP’s state-of-the-art, fully equipped gymnasium which even includes two squash courts, and is open to members seven days a week from 6.00am-10.00pm. Both corporate and individual memberships are available at Quay Fitness, or through our 'Quay Life' membership scheme. HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT OUR NEW CORPORATE COFFEE CLUB?


WQP has launched Aberdeen’s first private corporate coffee club in partnership with well-known Highland catering firm, Cobbs. 

 

Cobbs, which operates our onsite coffee shop, Caboose in the Courtyard (located inside Provender House), is enabling business people out with the WQP community (non-tenants) the opportunity to access unlimited meeting space, onsite parking and networking opportunities for an annual fee of just £15.

 

Caboose is the perfect environment for an informal breakfast meeting, a quick coffee with a friend or lunch with colleagues, and is the hive of the business buzz here at WQP – therefore a great place to meet like-minded individuals. If you know someone who travels to the city often, or a friend who works from home and could benefit from our first class meeting facilities, then please put them in touch with Carolynne at carolynne@waterlooquay.com to find out more.

 

Open Monday to Friday, from 0745-1600hrs, Cobbs’ experienced catering team serves up a variety of hot and cold drinks, breakfast rolls, pastries, sandwiches, salads and snacks throughout the day, available to sit in or takeaway. There is also a weekly specials menu, which features daily soup, daily hot meals, and a weekly special salad.
